Are you hearing a lot about this thing called “climate change”? Well, you need not hear about it because you and I are now feeling it.

This super hot weather, this El Nino or long dry spell, is part of climate change.  Because of what we have done to the trees around us, including the pollution emitted by the smoke in our factories and cars, the weather has been affected.  We are experiencing the horrible effects of climate change.  And they say it is frightening, Kidsters.

We are now experiencing extraordinary floods, hot weather, strong typhoons and earthquakes. Why? Because we have abused the goodness and richness of our surroundings and the gifts that nature has given us. This is the result.

When we cut trees indiscriminately, when we throw garbage, especially plastic right and left, when we don’t save on water, well, you can see the result.  It is happening in front of you and around you. Can we still do something about it? Yes, we can.

Change your habits for the better by respecting nature. Like I have been telling you again and again, plant, plant, plant.  Save water. Recycle garbage. Be green-conscious and see how nature will reward you again.

That’s right, Kidsters! Be aware of climate change.
