Palace on Arroyo’s paper: It’s sourgraping

MANILA  – Malacañang considered former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s essay entitled “It’s the economy, student!” as mere sourgraping.

Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said what Arroyo has written was not an economic paper but a political manifesto aimed to taint the Aquino administration.

Despite being under hospital detention for poll sabotage, Arroyo has managed to write an essay that took off from a US presidential campaign slogan and, at the same time, scored his successor for “squandering” her administration’s gains. (more)
