Team Rama denies reports it tweaked survey

TEAM Rama yesterday denied planting the survey that was released last Tuesday showing Mayor Michael Rama leading over Rep. Tomas Osmeña (Cebu City, south district) in the mayoral race for the upcoming May 13 polls.

The survey, which was supposedly commissioned by the Liberal Party (LP) and conducted by the University of San Carlos (USC) College of Advance Studies, was said to be released to counter the results of a survey done by the USC Political Science (Polsci) Department. Admin bets dominate Pulse Asia survey in February

Presidential cousin Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV and former censors chief Grace Poe-Llamanzares are among the nine senatorial candidates of administration-backed Team PNoy who have a statistical chance of winning if polls were held in February.

UNA’s ‘confidential’ poll survey leaks out

BASED on the June 2012 United Nationalist Alliance’s (UNA) survey, the Cebu City mayoral race can go either way, with Mayor Michael Rama having a slight lead.

According to the “perception survey,” 40.95 percent of the respondents preferred Rama while only 37.85 percent preferred Rep. Tomas Osmeña (Cebu City, south district). Read the rest of this entry

Admin coalition confident to take lead in surveys

THE administration coalition is confident that its candidates will grab the lead in survey rankings as their first television advertisement for the midterm elections is aired ahead of the official campaign period.

In a latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey on preferred 2013 senatorial candidates conducted on January 17 to 19, members of the administration coalition entered the so-called “Magic 12″ but none of these bets are part of the ruling Liberal Party (LP), which President Benigno Aquino III chairs.
