LP to hold rally on Friday in Cebu City

MOTORISTS headed to uptown Cebu City on Friday afternoon should brace for “very heavy” traffic, Rep. Tomas Osmeña advised (south district).

If the Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) approves the rally organizers’ request, a portion of Osmeña Blvd., M. Velez St., Escario St. and the area in front of the Provincial Capitol building will be closed to vehicular traffic from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. to make way for the Liberal Party (LP) rally there. Binay: Guest candidates to join UNA sorties

Sharing the stage with the nine candidates of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) should not be an issue for guest bets Senators Loren Legarda and Francis Escudero and Grace Poe-Llamanzares, a coalition official said Wednesday.
