ALMOST one million Cordillerans will soon choose the rightful candidate for the several positions in the country this May 13, 2013 elections.
Based on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) – Cordillera records, a total of 924,751 voters are eligible to elect their candidates during the Election Day. The province of Benguet has the highest voters with 197,031 which is followed by Abra with 155,643 voters. Read the rest of this entry
SOME 345 municipal and provincial election canvassers in the Cordillera region participated in a three-day training from March 4 to 6 as part of their preparations for the May 13, 2013 elections.
Commission on Elections (Comelec) regional director Jose Nick Mendros said the training joined by canvassers from Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Mt. THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc has passed a resolution deputizing government energy corporations to provide and maintain stable and continuous nationwide electric power requirements to solve power interruptions this coming elections.
Comelec En Banc, in their resolution 9597, delegated the National Electrification Administration, the National Power Corporation, and the Local Electrification Cooperatives to supply the power requirements, which will be used in the voting and counting of votes and transmission.
