Despite earlier pronouncements of non-partisanship in the May 13 elections, an official of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has inadvertently showed his unsurprising support for two pro-life party-list organizations.

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Sunday called on the Supreme Court to finally decide on the petitions of disqualified party-list groups given the poll body’s tight schedule in preparation for the May 13 elections.

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc has passed a resolution deputizing government energy corporations to provide and maintain stable and continuous nationwide electric power requirements to solve power interruptions this coming elections.
Comelec En Banc, in their resolution 9597, delegated the National Electrification Administration, the National Power Corporation, and the Local Electrification Cooperatives to supply the power requirements, which will be used in the voting and counting of votes and transmission. Organizers of the 2013 Sinulog celebration have banned the holding of any event both on the major and interior roads in the city on January 20 so as not to worsen traffic.
